Happiness thought 01: What we Value

Do we really know what makes us happy? is there really a book about what can make each and every human on earth be happy? Hi, I'm a 23 year old male who's soul wanders on what should I really be on this planet, should I really need to have a purpose in order to live life? Since I'm a graduate of A.B Psychology at Southern Luzon State University in Lucban, Quezon Philippines and a board passer of "Psychometrician" which gives me some eligibility does this mean I need to perform such labels to myself? or should I follow my personality from the beginning of my existence - from being naive to being conscious to my personality pattern.

I am going to express my thoughts freely in this Happiness blog no. 01, not to interfere with others thoughts, the opinions being laid here can not guarantee to be 100% subjective free.

Society shown us all the good things in life, we are bombarded with medias full of beautiful things that when we look into reality, when we look into ourselves it sometimes might not be applicable to us. if we overlook to these advertisements, we may set high goals that can't fit to us.

Everybody deserves what to value in their existence

What we value changes overtime and I believe it is a case-to-case basis, I want to be honest here, right now, what I want to establish in life is: to be independent by having a job, to be liked by others as well, to be with someone, to eat good foods including the junk one and the good one, to maintain balance between my own life and to my family.

these goals were comparable to things we value with varying degree, in order to attain each goals, there are sub goals to be taken first and it is also important to realize that in all succeeding part we can experience all the sides of the shape in other words it is natural to feel either highs and lows or neutral.

from the moment you read this, you may already constructed one by one, all the goals that you value.
you can continue it by doing the suggested activity.

Activity

List all the things you value now from highest to lowest priority, and in each goals write the corresponding sub goals.

Remember: Inevitably, before you attain each goals, it is important to keep in mind that along the path there will be a positive(happiness) and negative(sadness or anxiety) things that may come along.

By the time you start working on the things that you value the most, you will notice that it will lighten your attitude and mood in almost of your succeeding tasks, and by the time you completed it the rest follows in a perfect way. trust me.

anytime soon, I will make a template for this activity promise. :)

About the Site Title: Resilient Bliss

When we grew older our experiences also widens, bilaterally these experiences becomes more richer as if, growing old widens the scope of our concerns like achieving to be independent, getting all our wants, and getting all our needs. Inevitably, along the path of experiencing stuffs, experiences elicit arrays of emotions, there will be a moment when it felt like even if you're trying your best to control the situation, to stay on the positive side, you're always drifting to the unpleasant end. the question is what if the more you try to control your emotions the more it will trap your will to be happy. it is important to realize that every experiences are not linear and are naturally packaged with negative and positive emotions.

Seeing that, my blog will try to share some literature, observations and real life experiences with the mind set of helping individuals, getting others relate and hopefully utilize our very own potentials to be resilient when anxiety strikes!

About the blog header image

Photo grabbed from iamaileen.com from her blog about 10 THINGS FOREIGNERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES

I borrowed this photo and make it my entire blog image header because I find genuine happiness from kids. They're too naive to hide any forms of distress but also it is the most delicate stage of time when it comes to crystallizing personality.
